    what is the difference in a model 11 and a 11-87 Remington

    Good morning
    The M-11 was designed by John Browning and built by FN in Belguim from 1911 until late 40īs. The 11-87 does not resemble the M-11 on the exterior, was not made by FN and is not a collectors item per say. I dought if many parts are interchangable.

    If you mean the differance between an 1100 and 1187 the latter shoots 3" shell's and the 1100 is 2 3/4 only. The 87 is from the introduction year 1987. FB
