    Help w/ ingot ID

In a recent linotype score, I picked up a few ingots that were different from the rest.
They weigh +/- 9 lbs. each but are cast in such a way that they can be snapped into three separate ingots of 2.5 to 3 lbs. each. On the top they are marked "IMPERIAL" and lightly stamped on the bottom they are marked LINO PLUS.

I suspect they are designed to be added to printers lead for some reason, but I would appreciate someone's more knowledgeable input.

    Thanks!

I've heard of that. I think its higher in SN/SB to replace what gets lost in lino after too much dross skimming.
You would have to do a S.G. ( specific gravity) test to get a pretty good idea of its actual content.
Between A S.G test and melting point test you can narrow the possibilities down a lot.

Sweeeet! You could mix lino-plus like 1 to 10 with lead to make sweetened WW equivelant

More like 1 to 15 if you want a modern WW 3% Sb content. And you would end up with 1.2% Sn at that ratio.

that 1.2/3 ratio is an excellent one.
i use a very similar alloy[1.3/3] air cooled for revolver and water dropped for rifle.
