Sizer dies for shotgun slugs and other large bullets?

I am certain that sizer dies that will work in 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" presses for the purpose of sizing large cast bullets exist, but I have never seen one.

Or does any company make a dedicated bullet sizer and accompanying dies for bullets over 50 caliber, say up to 70 caliber or so?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

The largest readily available boolit sizing dies that I am aware of are the Lymans' in .515" dia. There is another way however, have someone with a lathe make you a Lee style push through die of whatever diameter you want, with threads to fit you press with the bushing removed. You would probably need a large diameter pusher also.

    Hello
Not trying to be flip, but why would you need a sizer for slugs?

They do not have lube groves to be filled, are easily tumble lubed if needed, and because of their diameter the small fluxuation in dimensions is not of importance.

Most of the BIG bullets for rifled guns are pan lubed and shot unsized as the velocity for these big boys do not require a gas check.

I pan lube the bullets for my 577 carbine. I am using a mould bored out to .600 for good gas seal and being able to use smokeless without the massive recoil of black powder.

It would be very easy to make a push through die for sizing.

    Is there a specific need?

    Mike
