    #2 lyman alloy

Today I was lucky enough to get 170 lbs of nearly pure lead.
I want to mix it with WW lead that I have to make an alloy I can use for rifle and pistol boolits.
I am sure this has been talked to death several times but I haven't been able to find it using search, ( I am not very computer literate) so I would appreciate anyones help.

I can just smelt it to ingots and mix it later but thought I would do it all at once.
    Thanks

    Jim

If you go 50/50, and water drop, you will get satisfaction.
Since I now have more pure than wheel weight, I mix to stretch it out.
    I know several roofers.

Are you in need a pan lube cutter?

dont know what your asking but adding pure to ww wont get you #2. For that you need ww/tin/linotype or some other sorce of antimony.

Very true. Water dropping ww will get you close to #2, but adding any pure lead & you are going the wrong way.
