"Basically" full length resizing is not the same as restoring the OD to its original size full length. The little bit of bulge left by the FCD will prevent chambering in a tight chamber like the one in my STI .40.

I've loaded tens of thousands of IPSC major loads with brass that had a Glock bulge and reloaded it many times subsequently without any problems. S&W .40 brass splits eventually but it's not a big deal. Nothing bad happens; just put it in the recycleable brass container when you find the crack.
