Is there a cartridge you'd like to see offered in a different type of gun?

Examples might be, if Marlin or Winchester offered a lever gun in 454 Casull, instead of being stuck with Puma being the only one. Or maybe the 327 Fed Mag being offered in a rifle.

327Fed would be good. Would really like Marlin to neck down their 338ME to 7mm, but thats just wishful thinking.

Marlin had a .475 Linebaugh lever in the works at one time. It was on the website, and Jerry's Sports Center had it listed on their website (there were never any in stock). Then it just disappeared. I would have definitely bought one.

It would be nice if Marlin would at least make one in .454.

I would like to see Remington bring back the 788 in all short action calibers including the 35Rem. I would like to see an affordable pump rifle in 32H&R mag. A Marlin levergun in 357Max would be super also. I would like to see H&R make a superlight handi rifle in 38 special with target sights. ..........I could do this all day how many you looking for?

I think Marlin will make the .41 again. Seems like they do a run every few years. Same thing on the .410.

Marlin 1895 in .40-65. Also would like to see Marlin add the option of a 30 inch barrel on the 1895 for some longer range shooting with BP.

Rossi, Marlin, or Win in 32-20, 25-20 and 218 Bee. I would also love to Remington bring back the 788 in all of the old calibers and also .454 casull.

I didn't know we had so many lever action lovers here. I really cannot come up with anything that has not been covered but would like to see "real" rifling with some depth to it it most calibers mentioned. Marlin made a lot of noise about their "Ballard" rifling and then gave us something that looked shot out from the factory. Same with throats. It seems to me if you are already rifling and chambering a rifle, how much more work would it be to do it right?

I agree, especially for boolits. Much easier to shoot longer before cleaning when using deeper grooves. Give me a short bolt action using all the pistol calibers of choice. Would be nice have a switch barrel gun, with interchangable bolt apparatus to mate with the different cases. ... felix

That new rifle they just came out with that has is revolver style. I think Rossi the judge in 410/45LC. I'd like to see it in some other calibers like 45-70 or some of the other older BP cartridges.

One of my dreams is in-process right now. Ruger will soon be building their lightweight #1A single-shot in .303 British, and I have one on order.

If ever a rifle and cartridge were intended for each other, I believe this to be a combination made in Heaven. I can hardly wait!
