Question Lyman 225462, mule snot and Speed Green

I've got 40 or so 225462 boolits that are TLed and GCed with LLA. I recently aquired a Lyman 45 lube/sizer and a stick of Speed Green. They are sized to .225 and the sizer die I have for the lube/sizer is .225. Does anyone know of any reason to not try the Speed Green over the mule snot?

    None whatsoever.

I've had fairly miserable luck and results with .223 and tumble-lubing. Went to lubesizing and things improved dramatically.

I've had what some would find exceptable results with my Hornet (about 2-3" groups at 100 yds) I'm looking for tighter'n that. It's a 14 twist ruger 7722 hornet and with no particularly special load will shoot 1" with 55 gr jacketed. I've been using H4198 and cci small pistol magnum primers for both boolits and bullets

I would go with the Speedgreen. It's the only lube I use for pistol and rifle, and fills both rolls perfectly. The stuff is magic!
I shoot so that I can handload.

My guess is that SpeedGreen is about 25 times better than mule snot.

If it was easy, anybody could do it.

    Caranuba Red

I use White Label now. I have a Lyman 45 and a 450. I also have 225642 and the .225 sizing die. For 40 bullets spit on em and load em. If you like the bullet and buy the mold go with the Caranuba Red. The other lube you have would go good in pistol Cast, anything works in pistol bullets.

Well I figured out how to use the luber and fill the bottom 2 grooves ans space in front of the check. Now I'll just have to make time too shoot em. Overtime sucks right up till payday.
