    Thanks.

Clearly the evidence disproves the necessity of those. They may help though, but sifting the BBs out is an extra step from sifting the excess powder unless you have the perfect mesh size.
I think any residual moisture is the biggest limiting problem.
Even if the plastic is less than ideal, just wait a few more minutes and it seems to work out. I do think the dillon tumbler is a plus because it is a thick softer plastic and has a rubber gasket. But that's only relevant to keeping down noise and dust.

The nicest setup I could picture would be a dedicated tumbler with something fitted to it like a deep fryer basket made from plastic. That way you could just lift it up and lock it a bit above the bowl and vibrate for a minute to rattle all the excess dust off. Then simply pour out the basket onto your baking mesh.
In the market for a multicavity Mi-Hec 9mm HP mold.

    I presently cast for .380 ACP, 9mm, .38/.357, 30 cal and .45 and 12 Ga slug.
I am particularly grateful for the help I have gotten from members Red333 and MSRdiver, and OLD Para (who made a crazy mold on my design!!!!!) as well as excellent guides by Recluse for his ideal lube process. I have been experimenting with poly coating too.

PM me if you know of a very cheap source of birdshot, or an efficient way to make #4 Buck.

where do you buy this stuff??? is it in a can?

is it a two part thing,,??

on the Glock thing,,, it has been said that,, cast bullets in a Glock,, will blow up,, so many folks will not load them,, for a Glock,
I have shot them in a Mod 21 for years before I heard this,, and i have friends that shoot 9mm 147 fp BB,, lead with no problem,, in a Glock barrel,,

most folks ar being safe,, than rishing sorry..
    I screwed up........

I had shot over 1000 cast lead bullets, with no ill effect, from my Glock 19 before anyone told me that I couldn't........

Yeah, but you probably clean your gun once in a while, too.
