    No. 4 Enfield Reciever Sight

I have a Golden State 1941 Supreme that I would like to put a receiver sight on. Does anyone have a suggestion for me? I am not an expert on Enfields, but I believe that the reciever on this one was milled flat by Golden State Arms.

although not designed for a #4 Enfield I put a redfield sight on mine, Dont know what model number but was designed to mount on the left side of a flat receivered gun. Not pushing my sale add but heres a picture of in from another site

The #4 has a flat sided reciever so probably any receiver sight made for a Winchester or Marlin lever action would work. If they did not mill off the ears that the issue sight fits on you could get one of them but they do not have windage adjustment

Parker Hale #5. Excellent sights but not too easy to find and not cheap. There use to be quite a few on Evil bay, but not sure now.

I ended up using a Lyman 66 for my beat-up bubba No 4 Enfield that someone had cut off the old rear sight off with a dremel and slapped a cheap scope mount on.

For a $50 rifle with an extremely sloppy chamber and a horrible forestock it hits a 4" group now.

Bruce, Which Lyman 66? The one for the 336?
