    Fire lapping a Yugo 59/66A1 E-prefix

Has anyone fire lapped their SKS to remove all those bore constrictions caused by the pins that hold the furniture to the barrel?

I rather doubt that using coated cast boolits would do, being too soft. I figure to use J-word bullets but what weight, how many, and how "fast"?

    Thanks,

    Scott

I would rather make a lead lap and concerntrate spefically in the tight parts of the barrel.
