The best results I've had in my 77/357 were with the Lee 200g RF over 2400. 1" @ 50 yards with peep sights. I load in 38 spl cases. OAL is 1.635" and they feed easily from the magazine. I'll have to check the records but from memory the load was running a little under 1400 fps.

The Lee 200gr RF shoots almost as well at 1,000 fps over Unique.

Mine seems to favor heavier bullets though the Lee 125 RF does pretty well.

One of these days I'll give the 180's a try. Any recommendations for a 180 RF with a gas check?

Doesn't Ruger still make the 77/357?

Yes, but this story is nine years old. Not your fault you got suckered - if you were to ask a question the first five answers would be, "Go look it up" in the old garbage pile. Go figure.
