    Question Got some Hornady 140 gr

    lead cowboy bullets for .38 Spl/.357 Mag. Anybody have a load range using Win231 powder for either or both of these calibers? I've found data for 141gr lead wad cutters and 135gr cast LRNFP bullets. I am wondering if the same data can be used with these bullets.

    I plan to be casting my own 140gr boolits soon. I just have to find my melting pot and a good heat source. Thanks for any information.

    4 grs in the 38 has done well for me it's light.
    i'd start there in the 357 also.
    you cannot push those hornady's very hard.
