how do you store your tumble lubed boolits?
how do you store your tumble lubed boolits?
In a cartridge above some powder and a primer.
In a bag. After I tumble the dried, lubed boolits in motor mica.
A zip-lock bag with a label inside.
45 AUTO! Because having to shoot someone twice is just silly!
I've been using cheap plastic storage containers from the dollar store. Use small containers, as they get HEAVY fast.
Plastic containers.
Different varieties.
+1 to above. Make sure they are substantial enough to handle the weight without caving in, spilling the contents when picked up. Jon must have a Dollar Store that has a better kind.
The ones here are too flimsy.

50 cal Ammo can.. holds... well it holds so many I can barely pick up the can...
i was a boolit buyer before a caster so i saved my heavy duty boxes them store bought boolits came in
I wa getting the plastic boxes from $ stores but it's hard to get ones of the same size so they stack neat. One time you go there they have one kind and next time who knows. I started getting those cheap disposable plastic microwaveable tubs. They are cheap yet strong and I can get the same size every time. They also hold together better and are pretty much air tight.
Aim small, miss small!
I use those Ziplock or Glad plastic containers.

The empty tin boxes Altoids mints came in + a little mica to keep 'em from sticking together.

Cardboard box's like an empty Hornady bullet box.
If you are talking about LLA bullets, when they arive here,(Customers that are not satisfied with the GOO in the botom of the box!) they go thorugh the machines again....they are melted again, and turned into bullets that are clean to handle, with adequate lube that does not stink, soil everything that it comes in contact with, etc..
Those of you that like LLA are welcome to it!
I would quit shooting before I would put up with that stuff!
I've been putting them in 1 gal freezer bags. If I keep them in those long enough, they will deteroriate and fail and I'll have boolits all over the place. Perhaps I should raid my sons cigar box collection.
i just got 4 large ziplok tubs for $2.50. thanks for all the ideas!
Akro bins. They come in various sizes and are stackable. They have a lip at the rear that hooks on the edge of my portable reloading stand.
