Has anyone had any history with the lead you get from a skin divers suite. My friend gave up the sport and the suite was damaged anyway so I tore it up and there was a lot of lead in it. (kind of a lot and very clean)
Can anyone tell me anything about this?
There's no way for anyone but you to know what you've got.
Divers only need lead diving weights to be heavy. What the exact composition of the lead is can only be guessed at by anyone here. It might be 100% pure lead, or it might not.
Melt it all down and try casting some bullets with it. If it pours well and gives good fill-out, well, then ya got something useful. After you know it pours well you can add it into your lead stash, and if need be, alloy it according to your needs.

back in the late 80's early 90's my biggest competition for ww's was an outfit making divers weights.
but iv'e heard of pure and 2/5-2/5 being used also.
