Finally got a day to shoot my new to me Browning 1886 45-70 and everything went real well except for a problem with the nose area of the 340gr LEE boolit being fat enough that the lever is stiff to close due to it engraving in the rifling most of the way down it. I was pleasantly surprised that it hit to point of aim since it is the SRC with no real way to adjust elevation other than changing the front sight insert.

Are others having this problem with the same combination. This is making me look at the Lyman 457122 mold. I assume if I don't want it to be a hollow point I can just make a flat plug right?
