T/C Hawken dob?

Would anyone have some idea of when my Thompson Center .50 cal Hawken was made. Serial # on left side of the barrel is 2500xx. Thanks for your help.

I bought my T/C Hawken new in '87, It is #336300

It is my understanding that none of the serial numbers where saved as to date of manufacture.

I bought mine in 84 with a 161xxx ser#

I bought my TC Hawkin in Dec. of 1975 serial no. is 902XX. $I84.00 OTD.....Terry

I just picked up one from a neighbor. 615XX. T/C said they didn't keep records but they guessed it was "early 70s."

I have a TC Hawken #K171XXX that's old as dirt. It's a very early model, has drum and nipple . It's percussion, but came with auxiliary flintlock. You just remove the percussion lock, pull off the drum, screw in a flash hole adaptor (bushing)and put on the flintlock! Shoots good either way. How cool is that? I don't think it's quite as strong as the new style though, I don't load it up like you can a new one.

I have a 5 digit serial numbers hawkens barrel in 50 cal. flint made in 1978
4 digits were the first run barrel made by sharon barrel company next were made by douglas.The barels made with the model stamped into them are t/c barrels

My kit bought in 88' K339275
