Some might say that it's getting bad when you find yourself ordering a gun to fit a mold that you bought cheap at a gun show...

Good, I don't feel so bad now........I had brass, dies and boolit mold several months before I bought the gun to shoot them with. I even loaded up some so I had them when I finally found the gun I wanted.

Its money in the bank, for someday when folks need rounds made

Thanks guys. I had a good laugh reading these posts. I thought I was the only one that bought the accessories before the gun.

Ha I have a similar problem. I found 16 20 round AR 10 mags, and 11 .45 auto mags at a property we bought off of a deceased Y2K nut jobs estate. Since I didnt have either one of those guns at that time I traded the AR mags plus a little cash for a .45. So no I dont think you are crazy.
If grasshoppers carried .45's the birds wouldnt mess with them.

It's much better to have the mould first. I'm sitting here with the gun waiting for a mould ordered almost three weeks ago. Supplier will not respond to emails and just yesterday did my debit card get charged. So maybe that means it's coming. I own moulds for calibers I do not own, but every time I sell a mould I find a deal on a gun I can't refuse. The replacement mould always costs more than I got for mine, naturally.

No problem, it's just another symptom of the disease, it also gives you another excuse to buy another gun....so it's a win/win situation. I to have a lot of dies, molds etc for calibers I don't shoot myself, but you never know when a friend may need some help. ::
