I know lead skrinks a little, thats the only thing I could think of
Unless yer tired from a long casting session and don't wanna work anymore, I don't know of a reason to wait. But I would wait 'till they're cool.
In this case would say that a myth is just a female moth!

Not a clue!!
I have cast, sized for consistency, and lubed in one day. Loaded and fired a day, maybe two days later. No issues. None whatsoever.
These are boolits cast with range lead and water dropped. They are soft to begin with and velocities are of the standard target variety.

maybe he meant don't load them for 24 hours AFTER tumbling?? I can't think of one idea, as to why you should wait to lube.
I read somewhere here that lead-antimony alloy as casted are soft, it took a few days to get harder and up to about 2 weeks to get to their max hardness.
I imagine if you tumble lube "softer" cast they would be easier to deform, 24 hours later they would be a bit harder than as cast.
Hence, do not tumble lube in the first 24 hours.
