Does anyone here know if Lyman's 300 grain 429650 will cycle correctly through a Winchester 94 chambered in 44 magnum? Any experience from the group would be greatly appreciated.

it should in a winchester 94 but I think the nose is too long for a winchester 92 as is the Lee 300 gr

Same nose as a 429421. I don't have a 94 in .44 mag so I can't say one way or another.
The 650 Lyman will NOT fit in the Ruger 44 mag rifles coming from the magazine. A smite too long, the nose is. ... felix

are you trying to feed it in a 92 or a 94?
oops I just read your post again and yes I think the ruger is actually a little shorter than the winchester 92

Thanks to all for the responses. I believe I've been told that it will feed, based on Schuz's inputs (same rifle as mine) and as always, there's always a ton of other useful information generated by everyone's responses. I've got some bullets coming from one of the other members to try and then I'll make a decision on purchase of the mould. Again, thanks to all for the info.
