I just started casting and I have two, .457 hb and .457 roundball. Next buy will be a 535 grn Postell and then the .458 collar button.

I plan on getting .452 in various flavors and weights for the acp as well as the next .45 Long Colt revolver.

When I first responded to this poll I had about 12 moulds I think. Now I just checked, and the number has grown to 31, and I'm getting another one in the mail tomorrow (I hope). Originally when I assembled my new workbench I had used the 2 lower drawers to hold my moulds, now I have both of them full, and had to use another shelf in the closet to hold some moulds (I keep my 'good' moulds in the drawers, and my Lee moulds in the closet!).

I'm running out of space for all these moulds, and might have to resort to taking some of them off their handles to save space, something I would rather not do, I like having each mould with it's own set of handles.

I think it boils down to 20 or under = beginner or lots more that 30 = old time caster. The poll is a still picture of something in motion. It shows a lot of new casters.

It would be nice to see a chart too with type of mold metal (AL, BR, IR) and/or Custom or Commercial.

I have been trying to stay out of that area. I am having enough trouble paying for the group buys that I am in . I would like to get into it by the end of this year if the funds allow for it. I'll just have to eat more ramen noodles and pbj sandwiches.

You can't buy experience, but you'll pay for it.
