I feel like a complete newb with only 3 molds (4th in the mail), but then I just cast for my .243 and 30-30.

    On January 25, 2010 in post #28 I said 55.

Must have been a pretty good year and a half, it's now over 70.

I have seven moulds and thinking of more.

    .490 rb; .311 rb; .30 180gr; .50 440gr; .44 310gr; .44 240gr (258gr); lee 1oz slug

    Casting can be mystically rewarding.

This thread got me to stop and think, and I currently load for 7 bore diameters in rifle, and 6 in pistol. That's a baker's dozen, and that's without differentiating .357 from 9mm, etc. I'm at or over 50 moulds now. Variety's the spice of life, after all, right?

It tends to vary from time to time but is trending upward.

How do you differentiate one from the other?
The Navy SEALS removed one Muslim threat to America.
It's up to the voters to remove another.

Let's see......Um......I think I can count them on one hand.....Um....how about 2 moulds--one for my 9 and one for my .45 Colt clone. I can't believe some of you have over 100 moulds. I would imagine that had I started casting at an earlier age, I'd probably have quite a few by now too. Where in the world do you get the time to use 100 moulds? You should probably be in the boolit business, selling boolits all over the place. I think I'm gonna be sick........... BC

I try to keep it simple. Only 1 per cartridge. 1 for 9mm, which I could use in .38/.357 if I wanted to give it a try; 1 for .38/.357; 1 for .45 ACP; 1 for .30/30; and 1 for .30-06/.308.

5 total, but I planning on adding one for my .50 cal muzzle loader. I just need to figure out what it likes.

I have 8, but another will be coming when one of the group buys gets going. Right now I have a Lyman single cavity PB .458 500 gr. for 45/70, a Lyman single for .458 GC for the .458 Mag., Lyman 2C PB .38 170gr.SWC, RCBS 2C GC .44 240gr., Lyman 4C .44 215gr SWC, Lyman 429244 in 4C, Lyman 4C in .45 200gr. SWC BB, and my newest I haven't had a chance to try out yet is Accurate 35-140S in 4C Brass. The one I'm getting in the group buy is Miha rerun of the Cramer 4C Brass 429244 with a few pin options.

I have only 5 molds but they are all variations of the Keith in 44. The One True Caliber.

Friends threaten caliber intervention but I'm quite happy here. I am somewhere between 30 and 40,000 cast and shot. Lost track of the number of Kegs of 2400. Finally getting to be a decent shot.

It's Unloading Day. Gotta run. Range opens at 9am and I have 150 left to load.

Since I started 2 months ago I'm nearly at 10 including the old civil war era mold I found.
6 for the .38 including the 000 buck mold
    2 for the 30-30
    1 for a unknown .46cal muzzleloading rifle

I have so many that at Christmas time I painted them different colors and started hanging them on the tree. I had to stop doing that because the tree fell over..

Have 32 on the bench right now. That is not including the ones I sold, lost, or gave away over the last 45 years.
