    Speedy Metals

I placed an order with this company and am very impressed with the turn around time. Within 24 hours I had an e-mail saying my order had been shipped with a UPS Tracking number.
The best part is that you can order whatever quantity that you need. They have no minimum order!
I also found the prices were very reasonable. I ordered a foot of 1 inch 0-1 tool steel for $11.79. Should be able to try my hand at making a few swaging dies with that! Sure beats the Hardware store prices for basic cold rolled steel!

Sure a machine shop can get better prices but for the novice hobbiest like me this is a great site!

I agree, they carry a lot of good stuff. Last year I ordered a 12" piece of 2" square 4140 to make a monoblock for a double that cost me about $80.00 delivered. Hard to beat the price or service.
BIG OR SMALL I LIKE THEM ALL, 577 TO 22 HORNET.
