    What about the powder that's stuck to the lube?

    It seems that some of us don't worry about having lube such as Alox on the bottom a boolit. Does the powder that gets stuck to the bottom of the boolit ignite and contribute to the uniform pressure desired from one round to another?

    with some rifle loads powder will stack up under the bullet and is considered part of the ejecta weight,it is burned as it goes down the bbl.
    in a revolver i'd bet the powder is burnt when the primer is fired.

    Yes. Alox does not prevent the combustion of powder granules that adhere to it. Those powder granules will burn just fine.
