I've shot some cast out of my MAS 36 although I haven't done much load developement. Used the RCBS 30-115gr SP (M1 Carbine bullet) sized 309 and either 4198 or 2400 powders. Accuracy around 1.5" at 50yds. Groups about 3'' to the right at 50yds.. Rear sight aperture is drilled off center. I am aware that this was done intentionally to zero rifle and other inserts are available. When I first got this rifle about 20 yrs ago I shot some jacketed reloads which were around an inch at 50 yds. Don't remember the load now. I do remember paying $75.00 for the gun.
