I'm in the .40 category--only because there isn't a slot for .451 RB. It's about a toss-up which one sees more lead pass down the tube, but I like the 1851 Navy more.

    Thumbs up

I shoot 44mag the most but I reload more 9mm than anything. I rarely shoot 9mm but my wife bought 3 new 9mm's this year so I spend most of my time reloading for her.
It could be worse, she could not like shooting.

Wasn't trying to be apprehensive, Sprue. I guess it would have to be the .44mag, my 4" 629-3 to be exact.

Straw Purchase? I would think a relative could buy the gun for you especially a long gun even if you were standing in the background and from a different state. Most long gun purchases are easy. I'm from Louisiana but I can buy a long gun over the counter here in Texas. Ca is really a PITA ain't it? I'm glad I'm not a resident there.

My vote is the old. 45 colt. Just saying 45 colt brings a warm feeling. Historic, and hits hard.

Since I got my Lipsey 44 Special, I'd have to say 44 special.

.45 Auto is my favorite. Easy to load for, brass lasts FOREVER and it's what my 1911's are chambered in...

41 Special, 41 Mag or 414 Supermag. I am a 41 fan through and through.
