    96-44 mag carbine

    here my amateur atempt at stock building.
    built it with a left and right cheekpiece. rebarreled with a ronsmith cut
    rifled barrel, 20 inch 1-20 twist. the comb is for scope for proper cheek weld.

    recipie, disovle steelwool in hydrocloric acid. and then u cut it to just barely yellow.
    thats a camo job.

    That's one heckuva improvement over the Ruger piece of wood they put on those things. I have the auto version of that and wish I had bought the lever gun. the auto kind of limits your load selection. That is a nice job you did on that regardless!

    Every time I see one of those I kick myself for not getting the used one I saw. And I still wish I had my Dad's 44 Auto International, but that was sold long before my opinion would have meant anything.

    Nice job! That looks like a lot of scope for 44mag.
