Any Plain Base 500 gr 45-70's for Marlins 4 cavities?

An awesome mold.
Machined exactly as ordered, and looks BIG & BEAUTIFUL.

My eight-year-old daughter looked at the mold cavities and asked, "Daddy, will those hurt?"

To which I replied, "Only with Daddy's loads; your loads won't be as bad. But whatever is on the receiving end will get hurt no matter which load we use."

Best thing about it all- my daughter still believes Santa brought the mold, but she has already been around casting and reloading enough to know EXACTLY what I mean when I talk about this stuff!

Dollhouses and Barbies in the bedroom, guns and boolits in the shop- the girl has it made!

My mould arrived. Thanks Jim and Al. I'm goning to load some test rounds and check if they chamber in my 1886 before I pedal off the 5 cavity GC NEI I have clung onto.

Thank you Swede for the wonderful molds and you SciFiJim for doing the clerical type work to get us these molds. Got mine Monday and heat cycled and cast some this week. Had quite a few rejects, but that happened on the first use on the 360 Keith mold I purchased also. The second casting session was much better with it, so I expect the same of this mold; I consider it part of the break in process.
I did have a bit of problem with the 500 grainers, but it wasn't a mold problem. I have a Saeco Lubrisizer, and there wasn't enough clearance between the top punch and the die to get them in place!! Fortunately, removing the top punch and carefully using a thin piece of steel plate allowed me to size and lube them
After Christmas I'll have time to load a few and hopefully do some testing. I've heard good things about AA5744, so going to grab some as I pass by the KC Cabela's. Thanks again guys. What a great Christmas present !!!!
