I use red dot but 5 gr of it does well in my gun
Since John Browning was alive, 5.0 Bullseye has been the standard load for 230 ball. It will matter not a whit that you are using cast instead of jacketed.
I use 5.0 Bullseye with all 230's for auto and revolver.
I like 230 with 5.6 Universal behind it.
Super38
Once again, 5.0 Bullseye is the place to be with this powder. Factory velocity duplication and good functioning and accuracy.
I been running lee 200gr TC over titgroup or universal
According to Hatcher's Notebook, the arsenal load used through both World Wars by the U.S. military was 4.6/BE/230 RN FMJ.
