    45 ACP 230gr RN

    Wondering what everyones favorite load is using lead 230gr RN and Bullseye powder.

    I use red dot but 5 gr of it does well in my gun

    Since John Browning was alive, 5.0 Bullseye has been the standard load for 230 ball. It will matter not a whit that you are using cast instead of jacketed.

    I use 5.0 Bullseye with all 230's for auto and revolver.

    Once again, 5.0 Bullseye is the place to be with this powder. Factory velocity duplication and good functioning and accuracy.

    According to Hatcher's Notebook, the arsenal load used through both World Wars by the U.S. military was 4.6/BE/230 RN FMJ.
