    COLLAR BUTTON by MIHA

I just received my mould yesterday and will try to find some time to cast up a few this weekend. Being a 44 fan, I ordered the .432 version. I have several applications in mind:

    1. I want to cast some fairly soft (50/50) for use in my Italian 1871 open tops. I plan to load them with real black powder in 44 Russian brass.
    2. I also want to try some of these softer alloy buttons in my Marlin 94 44-40 - again over black powder.
    3. I will try some cast from WW loaded over a mild charge of 231 or Red Dot or something similar and shoot them in my 44 Specials and 44 mags.

What do you all have in mind for their use??

I also ordered the 0.432" for use in .44 Special but now that you mentioned it will try it in 444Marlin as well !
