CB Reccomendations for 7MM Mag

Ok so after making it in to a safe queen for years it is time for this gun to do something.

I have 135 Lyman look-a-like and 150 Loverins.

All I want is an accurate plinking load to shoot out my Husky 5500.

Have you got a Lyman Cast Handbook? Always a good place to start. The only loads I've tried in my 7mm Rem. Mag. have been heavier than plinkers, a 175 Lyman bullet and either 4831 or WC860. My BDL is old and well used, shoots these ok. I plan on making a project of load developement for it though. Also, just try searching this forum.

Not for loading data BUT for a good mold selection, you might do a "search" for 7MM bore rideing" .
For reloading data look at the RCBS Cast Bullet Manual, it lists, 4198,RL #7,4759, Red Dor, PB, & 700 X for powders with both their 145 & 168 gn bullets
