Is the Saeco about the same design as the Lyman?
I have a Lyman but it is powerful slow being a single cavity, I would like to get a 2 or 4 cavity if they are very close to the same bullet.

The designs are similar in both having 3 lube grooves, but the Saeco has a wider bottom band then the Lyman. I would imagine the Saeco wold too, but the Lyman 300 gr slug sized to .452" makes a dandy 45 Colt boolit!Originally Posted by vrmn1
The bottom band in this photo appears to be like the Saeco's. That's because of the sizing down from about .460" to .452". All the bands appear wider then if used in a rifle.
