white label 2500 vs lbt blue soft

have ben using lbt blue soft, looking for something cheaper(they areclosing my plant ,losing my job) use it in .357 mag ,.44 mag ,45 colt, 30-30- win at 2150 to 2200 fps and 45-70 at 1600 fps, both rifles are gc the rest are not. lbt blue works good would WL 2500 work good at the above list of cal. and vel. with out leading ? would like to try lube that i dont have to heat ,.I usauly lube 500 boolits and but them in a coffee can ,is 2500 messier than lbt blue soft?as in is it hard enuff to not be real stikyand messy, while seating in the can with other lubed boolits? ,it will be in an a.c house, or would carnuba red be better ,even though i have to heat it?

lar will send you free samples of any of the lubes you may want to try!
    1/4 of a stick i think
    you cant beat his prices
    i use 2500, bac, and his 50/50
and no, the 2500 is not to sticky and messy(i know what you mean!)

Sounds like a good time to make up a little of your own. I use a white lithium/beeswax mix with a little parafin to thicken it up. It's a recipe I got from watching an ammosmith.com video. You don't need heat and it's working great in my 38SP and my 45-70.

+1 - What Waco said. Lars will send you samples of their lube. I prefer the BAC lube it is about the same consistency of LBT blue maybe a little stiffer. Use it in ALL of my cast loads didn't think it would hold up to 2200+fps but seems to be doing okay.

I think Lar's stick lubes are more economical than even the Moly/bee stuff when you get right down to it. The cheapest lube ever is liquid alox from lar's, but doesn't work for everything.

Go with the white label lube and then coat boolits with corn starch. Keeps em nice and easy to handle and no mess.

I like the LARs; BAC for unheared & the Carnuba is great w/ just a bit of heat.
