How does the Lyman universal heater work with the RCBS Sizer?

There are bolt patterns in the heater for not only LYMAN/RCBS lube sizers but SAECO too.
    I beleave all require a 1/4-20 screw

I realize that after reading the information on their web site. Thank you.

But for you folks with RCBS sizers that use this heater are you happy with it?

I have this heater on my Star. For the money, I think you would be better off mounting it to a sheet of aluminum and using a clothes iron.

There is no temperature adjustment on the unit, so when you plug it in it is 100% heating until it you unplug it. This means that when using hard lubes you need to try to keep a balance between running the heater and unplugging it. You can do a search on hooking up a PID to it, but that will raise the total cost unit.

That is exactly the type of feedback I am interested in.
Thank you. Looks like I'll cross this heater off my list.

I bought a router speed control from Harbor Freight for $19. Works good to regulate the temperature.

I use two pieces of aluminum and a clothes iron. Aluminum can be 1/4" to 1/2" thick.

4"x4" picece on the bottom, then a 4"x12" piece, and the luber sizer on top. Then set the iron on the 4x12 piece and you can control the amount of heat. With a gap under the 4x12 piece, the bench doesn't absorb as much heat.
