    Ruger Old Army Fans

Been emailing Lee about a REAL/RB combo that fits the ROA - 200gr REAL & .457 RB. Currently they do a 200gr REAL/.440 RB and a 350 REAL/.490 RB. With al the ROA C&B guns out there you think it would be a good mould.

I wish I could afford to order 100. THink there are enough interested ROA shooters out there?

    Comments/ideas?

..............I used to own a Ruger OA (was stolen in 1982). I bought a Lee mould for the .457 RB and they also had a slug mould. Still do I think, but I don't know about a 'combo' mould. One problem however is what Lee charges for RB moulds. This may pertain to such a combo mould, even using the tools they already have.

I have an ROA and I have a Lyman mould that casts a hollowbase conical for the 1858 Remington, but being it's a single cavity and slow process I now shoot a 200 gr SWC bevel base from a four cavity Saeco mould using Triple Seven and boy oh boy does it love that set up. Shoots really good and it's on the lower end of 44 mag velocity. Me and 44man discussed this real thorough couple months back on the forum here.
