    Captain,

The lead arrived today in good shape. Boxes were well packaged, shipped fast (less than 1 week turn around time!). Captain treated me well, always answered my questions and PMs. I couldn't imagine a better transaction. A very happy customer. Thanks!

    Operations have ceased...........

    ....... for the moment.

    Hello friends,

As mentioned in post 140, a revolting development occured last night (8/18/2011): I substained an injury resulting in 2 fractured ribs. I am a stoic for pain, and I never have experienced the kind of pain I did this morning. Called a friend who took me the the VA hospital, and the doctor said a 3rd rib could be fractured as well, but it was hard for tell. I asked for a shot for the pain, and that helped a bit and made taking X-Rays tolerable. They mentioned about me laying down, and I said "NO WAY" - that I would have them done while standing up. So after being there for around 6 hours, I was sent home with a host of pills for inflamation and pain. Stay tuned..............

~ Kathie (and her happy pills)

Kathie-You take care of that injury. Broken ribs as you know, can be extremely painful. I was given Oxycodone for pain when I had bypass surgery in my leg and they helped a lot. Whatever they gave you I'm sure you'll use them up as I did. We hope you get healed quickly so you can take care of them kitties!

Thanks folks for the words of support.... and ColColt: I too was given Oxycodone (which is the chemical name for percocet) and it is now 3:17AM. I had some computer work to do (since I now am the webmanager of www.pcact.org ) and I want to get real tired so that I fall asleep after taking some more happy pills. I am almost afraid to lay down... if painful, I will sleep in my recliner!!!

I am sorry to hear you have hurt yourself, take time to heal real good before you start messing with lead again and most definitely prayers sent your way.
I have never broken a rib but have broken my back almost paralyzed myself but the vertebrae held by only a 1/16 of inch but it didn't cut my spinal cord. You will find new ways to do almost everything and I do mean everything. Messed my knee caps up too years ago and broke an ankle and most of my fingers at least twice each.
When you get older they will remind you of the past fun you have had in your life.

Best wishes K., take it easy and get well soon.

I had a kidney stone run through my system last week, thought that was bad.
OK, it WAS bad, the pills helped but the morphine in the ER was better,
didn't make me feel dizzy. Be careful walking around the house on percocet.
