    Lee 309-200-R in a marlin

I just got a lee mould 200g rn. is it going to be safe to shoot the bullet in my marlin 336? this has probably been asked before, so I'm sorry if this is redundent.

Sarfe? Why not? Develop an appropriate load which might be extrapolated from some .303 Savage data. Issue that I see is OAL of the round with the heavy bullet but if you can get all that lead into the case, it will work.

You might have trouble getting it to chamber all the way. The Lee 309-170 won't go all the way in mine.

Personally I would rather have a FLAT nose bullet resting on a primer in the magazine tube, those Lee 1r roundnose are pretty pointy. .02

What is the OAL of the bullet? Is it comparable in length to the RCBS 30-180-FN?
