    Chris,
I need to place an order for some STAR lubesizer parts. I'll need flat punches with nuts for .30 cal, 9mm/.358, .401, .427 and .45. If I can use the same flat punch for multiple diameters that's good. If it matters, I have 2 Star sizers, one is a old production (dark blue powder coat finish) and one is 2010 production.

I'm also interested in a .453 and .357size die for the big lube bullets. I'll send a sample when I mail a check, if that's your preferred method of payment. Might as well throw in a roller handle as well.

Could you send an address and $ amount.

Chris, I would like to order a .359 and a .431 Star lube die. Will be using on NOE 429421, Mihec H&G#503 and Accurate Molds #43-240T. NOE 358429 and Accurate Mold #36-160A. If I could also get the flat punches with locking nuts, that would be great. A roller handle as well please. Thank you. My email is RedHawk357Mag AT gmail.com Thanks

Chris, I just sent you email about parts. Did not think to mention that I am interested in a roller handle also. Looking forward to hearing from you so I can get parts coming. I am really excited about my new old Star.

Chris, is there a thread somewhere about the dished punches? I assume these will center the boolit better. What little checks I have seated were with your flat punch. These seemed to work out well. I am going to add to a local fellows order if I need these.

Thanks for the positive comments guys, I appreciate them. Danny, the dished punch helps most if your boolit base is less than perfect-- a slightly raised sprue, or the check isn't a good fit. Also, it's usually fitted closer to bore size, which can be important to get a good seat of the check. But, if your current setup is working for you, I wouldn't mess with it.

That sounds great Jerry, I'll put you down for next week. Thanks a bunch!

I need to mention, I have an internet service outage, I cannot access the internet at home, and AT&T won't even try and fix their problem until Sunday at the earliest. This began last Wednesday, and if my replys since then have been a little slow, you now know the reason. Hopefully, they will get the problem fixed soon, but it's totally out of my hands, there's nothing I can do but wait (and wait, and wait...) for them to fix the problem.

Thanks for your patience and understanding,
    lathesmith

Thanks for a great die and punch set that I ordered a couple of weeks back. Great delivery, and just got a chance to try them out in my Star. Great product!

    Yesterday...

afternoon the pretty USPS lady in the right-hand drive Jeep Cherokee delivered to me a Lathesmith Lyman type .317 H&I die.

The die sized, spot on @ .317, a pile of 'Fattest .30 Loverin' Gr.Buy boolits. Hopefully this Friday's visit to the range will see how well the Faz No.4 Mk.1 appreciates all the effort done on its behalf.

Job well done Mr. Smith. ASAP I get a few shekels together I'll have more work for you.

    Be of good cheer,
    Wt.

Rockrat: a 513 die for the Star is no problem, although it is just about the largest size a Star could handle, I would think.

Jerry: Great! Thanks for the report, sorry about the long wait! I'm not really thinking about mowing lawns just yet, we have about 5 inches of snow here and 15 degrees. Won't be long though!
