    Base guard bullets

Been looking at the Corbin site and I am interested in purchasing the kit to make base guard handgun bullets. In .357 and .45 acp. Has anyonehere ever made these and/or used them. Are they worth the effort?

The base guards are a great way to shoot soft lead or hard lead bullets. I have used them on both for .45 Colt and .44/40. I always hedge my bets by coating the bullets with Lee's Liquid Alox just in case.
