Bruce has made a number of custom moulds for me as well and I agree with Lloyd about the high quality of his work! Take a look at the BRP catalog and see what standard moulds are available. Great work at reasonable prices !

GLL, out of curiosity, how big do you think that plain base casts with soft lead? I'd like to have something that will cast soft lead around .361+. Thanks, Billy

Kind of nice having someone around who "gets it" eh Lloyd?

I have alot of Bruce's moulds and I have never been dissatisfied.......not once. He has even made a few designs that were "out there" when someone wanted it bad enough.

He did not start making moulds with $$ in his eyes...he started making moulds because he could not get the quality/sizes/designs he was seeking anywhere else. The saga continues because he understands that others without the tools to do it themselves share them same desires....and is willing to help.

We at castboolits are very fortunate to have fellas like Bruce that are willing/able to make our little "dreams" come true.

To all those that can-do and choose to-do for others

Not Jerry here, but I have the GC version and seeing as how it is the same cherry set to different depth......My 358430GC casts right at 0.3613 with WD50/50 ww/pure so pure lead or 30/1 should get you close to what you seek.

    Billy:

I had Bruce cut that cherry for me and I am pretty sure you can get the 0.361" you want with pure Pb.

I can run a test and send a few to you if you would like !

Call BRP and confirm what he can do for you !

Thanks guys. I was just curious, probably be a winter project as I'm already committed to 3 group buys right now. I might see if I can take you up on that offer later though Jerry. I'll shoot a PM to BABore when I get closer to working on it. Thanks again, Billy

Babore has sent me a lot of boolits to test and they are the best I ever seen. I have been going kind of nuts figuring which one I want, too many choices so I have some loaded for deer but need to wait until Nov to form a decision. I have to stick with the one revolver this season and try several boolits.
He screwed up my mind trying to decide and I have sat and looked at them until I need a drink!
Bruce is a true craftsman. I am indebted to him for causing me to drink so much. So many of his designs have punched one hole at 50 yards from my revolvers that I should just flip a coin.
Sorry for the delay Bruce, been a hard year for this old man. Had to paint the house, cut grass, paint more, cut grass then paint the barn, cut grass, paint more, then listen to the wife bitch about grass on the driveway. Really cut down on my shooting and the year flashed by. I never made a single shoot or even got to the range. A few shooting sessions in my woods is all I could do.
Fellas, Bruce is putting all other mold makers to shame, take it from me.
