    Lee CTL 309-160-2R

    Have a new mould that is out of round about .002. What is the max out of round that can be Leemented?

    I wouldn't worry too much about that out of round problem. I would bet by the time it is shoved down the barrel with 20,000psi pressure behind it will be round enough!
    45 AUTO! Because having to shoot someone twice is just silly!

    I don't think that Lee-menting takes off much metal at all, but it might help a bit. Nonetheless, shoving it through a Lee .309" sizer to apply the gas check will true it up nicely.

    CTL stands for Gas-checked Tumble Lube, so simply tumble-lube it lightly in LLA, size/check it and tumble lube it again. Load when dry.

    Depending on which way it is out of round beagleing might work but I personally wouldn;t worry about it.
