    Talking Thanks and happy casting

Dealing with BlackhawkConvertible was a pleasure. We traded FTF here in MN and he gave me the 411 on the best local "dive" breakfast joint in Rochester,MM

Thumbs up badge176 = Straight Shooter

I recently traded some cast boolits for a larger quantity of lead alloy WW ingots at an agreed upon ratio by weight with this other member. He is good, the alloy he sent me is as described and clean. In fact every ingot was marked with a Sharpie permanent marker as to how much it weighed to the tenth of an ounce. I personally am not quite that detail orientated but anyone who is usually makes a good trading partner.

I have noticed he has posted a few other threads off and on offering to trade lead ingots for a smaller weight of cast boolits from one mold or another. If you need the lead and have the mold he wants casts from I highly recommend doing the trade. He is good to work with and the lead ingots he trades are good metal.

I can weigh it, but can I count?

Yeh, umm, I weighed the damn little bricks out to ounces and tenths thereof, but when I packed it in the box and took it to USPS, it weighed like 4 pounds more than I though I'd packed.

Oh well, Turbo gets what he needs to make great slugs and I get what I wanted, a whole bunch of excellent lead projectiles (20g short, fat, inside- the- wadcup slugs)!

    badge176 is great!

badge176 (aka Eric) is great to deal with, we traded boolits, brass and a mold and Eric sent me some really sharp looking, freshly tumbled brass thats just crting out to be stuffed with cast boolits!

Looking forward to future deals with him, if you get the chance you wont find a better guy to do business with.

LAH, Bob Krack, buckbeans, thx997303, jsizemore, Jeff Davis, badge176, Wayne R. Scott, and TNshawn are all good people to deal with. Sorry about the mass message but I had a lot of deals going at one time.

A+ for everyone on quick payment and good communication.

    Thumbs up Badge176

I sometimes (no pun intended) forget to comment on people and their actions here- mostly because everyone here is very good about maintaining a good relationship and giving their best.

To me, that is how you are supposed to act, and the deadbeats are the ones that need noticed. Peer pressure does wonders to correct unacceptable behavior! Of course, these days they call that discrimination!

Everyone that I have ever dealt with on Cast Boolits have been exceptional people- never had one problem with anything.

Quite a few have went above and beyond call- and I never expected any of it. That is GREATLY appreciated- restores your faith in your fellow human being.

I wish to recognize everyone that I have had dealings with, and if I leave someone out, it's not because I am slighting you, it will be becasue my records are incomplete!

    Thanks to these Straight Shooters
Keep up the good work guys!

    badge176- good guy

I cast him 200 8mm bullets some time back. He then asked if he could borrow the mold. I said yes, but the sprue plate screw was stripped (the mold it screws into actually). He graciously offered to repair it via a machinist friend, and put $60 down as a deposit.

Mold came back done up just right and in good shape. I sent his deposit back. Good deal! He got a chance to make a bunch of bullets, I got my mold fixed.
