    Star sizer spacing

I have two .460 boolits that I want to lube.

The first has a center band that is .100 wide and is .210 center to center on the lube grooves.

The fsecond has a center band that is .075 wide and is .130 center to center on the lube grooves.

Do you think if I have Lathesmith make a die with .160 spacing, it would fill both boolits lube groove? I would have him make the die with 5 holes in a row instead of the usual 3.

    Thanks,
    Crabo

Do not argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

3 would be plenty you can block one set of holes with a driving band.
just remember how deep the rod is gonna push each boolit.
your spacing might work also but you might have to double pump on one boolit.
it's all an educated guess,,,, till the trigger is pulled.

the more i find out about shootin boolits, the more it contradicts everything i ever learned about shooting jaxketed.
