It just dropped into my Lap, HONEST!

Sometimes bad things happen for a good reason and sometimes the darkest cloud has a silver lining...

The other day we had a terrible?? accident, a carney truck carring a Shoot the Star game rolled over on the way to our counnty fair. The driver wasn't badly hurt but the truck was wrecked and the contents of the truck was strewn across the road. Unfortunately the contents included 500 pounds of LEAD bb's. According to State Law this is a HAZARDOUS substance and must all be removed. IT WAS!

A very civic minded fellow, you are!
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

I almost got tears in my eyes when I read this. Really makes me feel good to know that there are brave, good hearted people out there that are willing to risk life and limb and contaminate themselves with this dangerous lead, all in an effort just to keep others safe. Somebody buy this man a beer.

I havent tried these yet but I think they are pure soft lead and since i shoot muzzleloaders a bunch this will be a welcome addition. I will probably cast them into ingots next week.
