It is my understanding that the fellow that owned "Rapine" passed on and the company no longer produces !

And Eagan has passed and I believe they no longer produce either .

    Hi

I saw that Custom Cast Bullets & Reloads is selling it.

On their web site, the mold is listed but there is no email nor adress where to pass an order:

Has anybody used Dave Farmer's 105 gr. 25 cal. bullet in a 1-12 in twist? Can 1-12 twist stabilize a 105 gr. 30-1 alloy bullet? Thanks, Terry Morgan aka Milt Farrow

well ill chime in for NEI
my mould is excellent and by far the most well made one i own including an old saceo an old lyman and several lee moulds

does take a little more time to heat up but once i get it going the only time i have to stop is when the pots empty

the mould i have is a 2 cav alum in .454 an is a 330gr kieth style for my 45 blakhawk
some of the guys i shoot with say it sound like a cannon going off (now if i can just get a deer to come close enough i doubt it will go very far.

my new years resolution is to have a more positve outlook but that doesn't mean i cann't expect the @%&#*%@ worst

I contacted Barry Darr on 3/3/09 and was advised by his wife that he no longer makes bullet molds.

    Difficult choice

    Hello all,

My first post here out of desperation

I have a percussion rifle with a .410 bore diameter which gets me stuck for all standard BP rifle bullet moulds so I figure I may as well try to get a mould of the original bullet profile. There are two I would like to try, both of which have a slightly unusual profile.
One is a pure compression bullet and the other is a combination compression/minié bullet. I have all the dimensions in metric. If anyone is up to taking the challenge let me know.
