this is probably a stupid question but, what size gas checks do i nee for a 7.62 boolit? All i see are 30 cal gc's.

.30 caliber gas checks are correct for 7.62 caliber rifles. What specific caliber are you loading for?

You answered your own question. The .30 cal. is 7.62 in metric language. For instance, the 7.62 NATO cartridge is our .308 Winchester. Sorry if this isn`t clear as mud, but is the best answer I could think of in a hurry.Robert
7.62x39 and 54r. just wasn't sure since there are so many different 30 cal's out there. thanks for the answers.

I use the .30 cal checks on my X39 and X54r, they work fine.
I'm using the Lee C312-185-1R intended for the .303 Brit. and the C312-155-2R intended for the 7.62X39.
I'm shooting them in a Polish M44.
