It's a 58 caliber zoli, and a ethan allen pepperbox kit. i have a 58 caliber mold so i dropped some 530ish grain minnies. any suggestions on what i put underneath it or the 36 caliber ball? any loads ya'll like. Any tips tricks anything would be greatly appreciated this should be an interesting project.

Start off with arounf 55gr in your 58 and work up in 5 gr increments until you get where you like the best or max load.

It's important to size them to about .001" under bore dia. and lube the grease grooves with bees wax and crisco. I would put just a little bedding compound in the area of the breach and tang, then start with 45gr. of 3f working up in 5gr increments to about 65-70gr max, the gun will handle more, but the Minie won't.

For point of impact there are several places to buy rear sight blanks that will fit in the Zoli-Zooie.
