Well, just got my new T/C 45 cal maxi-hunter bullet mould in the mail today. Sometimes you can still find good deals on that E auction sight.

Now I just have to empty my lead pots of ww alloy.

Edit: well maybe not that good a deal. The hollow point pin is too short.

My first T/C Hawken wasn't very good, and I couldn't hit the inside of a barn if I threw the thing at it. I boxed it up and sent it back, and they sent me another. I replaced the front and rear sights with the T.C. fixed sights and got it regulated ( at the time ) so I could make a cloverleaf in a Skoal can @ 100 yards with a .440 round ball and P grade Pyrodex. I took off quite a few squirrel heads with that rifle. Still ain't killed a deer with it, though, and I've had it since 1975. I did have my initials engraved into the patch box...

Did I ever mention that I hate to trim brass?

The first couple I bought were purchased at Kittery Trading Post either in late 71 or in 72
Mine too, purchased 1/7/72, one day before my 17th birthday at the Kittery Trading Post...Ray
