    Wind River Barrels

Anyone here use WR barrels for cast bullet shooting? I barreled a #1 in 30-30 AI last year with one & it shoots great (smokeless & jacketed). But the CB and or BPCR barrels may have a little different ideal spec... Or do they?.
    Thanks,
    Greg

I've got two levers with Wind River barrels, a '92 in 45 Colt and '94 in 38-55. I've only shot cast in both since the barrels were put on and they do really good, I use black powder in the 38-55 and smokeless in the 45 Colt. I've shot the '92 out to 180 yards in Cowboy long range matches, and the '94 out to over 200, and have done quite well with either one if I do my part and hold them right.
