    Smile T/C Venture

    Hi Everybody,

Just want to type a short report on the "New" T/C Venture Bolt Action Rifle.

I just got one in 7mm Rem Mag.

Black Stock, blued bbl. It's their entry level rifle.

First trip to the range yesterday . . . . . first 3 shot group at 100 yards was an even 1.10". Used Federal Power Shock (blue box) ammo, 150gr. Nothing special.

3 shot magazine, 24" bbl, Icon type action (nice big smooth bolt), weaver bases installed, nice Soft recoil pad.

    Sweet trigger.

    MOA accuracy guarantee.

For the money it's a steal (IMHO)

I'll get some photo's posted soon.

    Regards,

    BlueSmoke

I hope they can sell as many as they make.

There must be a big market for bolt guns in sporter trim, because EVERYBODY (it seems) makes them. I ran by a small gun store about 35 miles from me a little while back and he had 20+ used ones for sale, most in pretty good shape. He takes things in trades, but I don't have a clue what people are swapping them for.....handguns, maybe?
